Well oh well it wasn't half bad. The prevailing (+) element of our whole experience was the customer service we got at the door and from the impeccably professional service we received from our server, Zhania (sorry if misspelled). She literally MADE our day!! The restaurant was playing some good tunes and the outdoor seating was pleasant for the sunny day. Ordered the Saltfish Frittaz, the Curry Chicken and Rum Cake. Saltfish Frittaz was tasty but pretty dry and needed some sauce to soften up the tostones. The Curry Chicken had fall-off-the-bone chicken and had a nice menagerie of flavors although the overarching one was SALT which seem to coincide with the price. The Rum Cake was out of this world good and literally produced a feeling of euphoria...we left happy but not enough to warrant worth revisiting.

The ambiance is nice. It seems like an adult type of restaurant/bar but there was a patron w/ a kid there so I'm not sure! The music was decent, I believe they have actual parties on the weekends. I came on a Monday. Service was decent. It wasn't busy, so sitting at the bar makes it pretty easy to be noticed. Both my friend and I ordered the oxtail plate with rice n peas. It was okay. The rice and peas tasted a lot better the next day. There could have been more oxtails imo. We also ordered an appetizer, but it never came.

Excellent excellent Jamaican food. The best curry chicken I've ever had. It's not that very bright yellow curry. This stuff is amazing. I wish the rice wasn't as dry but I'm very impressed with my order and plan to return. It's a very casual spot. . Very loud music and you will get patted down /checked before entering by security. I guess that's Wynwood for you? Service was quick and great. I love the mini personal pot the main dish comes in. The food is excellent. There was also a nice list of mocktails which I can appreciate as I don't drink alcohol. I love lychee so I chose the mocktail that had lychee and it was pretty good. Can't wait to return. At night this place becomes a dance club. Not sure if they still serve food at night but it looks pretty packed when I've passed by before I finally tried them much earlier in the day.

Met up with friends for a quick drink and light bites.. got 2 jerk sliders, and had a few drinks. Sliders tasted great.. lots of flavor as well as spicy. The bartender, security, and staff were positive polite and friendly. Music was also good. I'd definitely return.

Dukunoo is Miami's answer to an upscale Jamaican restaurant! Kudos to the chef & staff! Everyone is so pleasant! I was so impressed with them the 2nd visit, that I asked to see the chef! I had to tell him how much I enjoyed my meal! When you go, try everything! Everyone order something different because each meal is really enough to share! Nothing will disappoint you! I stopped by for a quick lunch and ordered the oxtails with rice and peas. The oxtails were incredibly flavorful, juicy, and tender--I enjoyed every bite. The rice and peas complemented the dish perfectly. I can't wait to come back!

Brunch, brunch, brunch, brunch! I can't scream brunch enough. The ultimate brunch experience is here. They have breakfast only brunch buffet for $50 and the breakfast and dinner brunch buffet $75. Both brunches include unlimited food and mimosas. If that's too much food for you then you can just order off the menu. Which I just ordered off the menu. Bang, bang shrimp, Calamari, jerk chicken wings, curry goat, oxtails, chicken and waffles and salmon stew. The drinks we had were Malibu breeze martini and zombie. The food and drinks were all great! The salmon gravy and salmon lacked seasoning. But everything else was well seasoned and flavors were great! They don't deviate from the menu. So make sure you go during the days and times you're looking for. This includes cocktails and meals only on made on certain days. The calamari was the best I ever had in my life. Perfect texture and flavorful! The oxtails gave me a homemade beef stew vibe. Which homemade beef stew is my favorite meal next to a good steak. There is minimal street parking. We just valet parked in the garage on the same block. It's $10 for 2hours and you just take the elevator down to first floor and walk across the street. They have Dj and Hookahs as well. The inside has huge window that is open at the bar. Which separates the inside from outside. The window never closes. So whether you're inside or outside it will be hot or room temperature. We had great service from the waiters, servers and bust servers. They were worth the additional 18% gratuity that was added to my check. Go, you will love it but make sure to make reservation. It fills up fast while I was there at 12:30. I will be returning. Can't wait to try ladies night Thursday and happy hour.

Food: 3.5/5 Service: 4/5 Ambiance: 5/5 The vibes were pretty good on a Saturday. There was a dj on the patio where we sat and he was playing great tunes! I will say the ambiance of this place was very nice despite Wynwood being a very small place to deal with. Parking was the typical. Busy & depends on where you park it'll be a walk. Luckily, we came at the right time since there was no wait :) On to the food... I ordered the Rasta pasta with shrimp & it was alright. The pasta could use more sauce and a bit more seasoning but nonetheless it's edible. The festival was fresh & fried nicely. Would I get this again? Probably not. I would try the escovitch and something else. The sorrel was fine! Missing a bit more alcohol but safe to drink! They had a brunch there earlier and when we arrived they were on the brinks of closing it up. We were offered to try the brunch but we declined. The price of the food was not a problem. People have to recognize that authentic Jamaican food does cost $$$ and a lot prep + time. Also, the location of Wynwood is pricey as well, so I don't mind spending a buck or two on authentic food. I will come back & try something else possibly one day! The manager came by and checked on us. Which was pretty nice of her to do. I recommend the non Jamaican servers to know the menu items better. Our server was not Jamaican but he was a bit lost in explaining what certain items were. I, myself, am Jamaican so I had to explain what certain dishes were/ made from so that the non Jamaicans at my table weren't lost. I would've rated service a 3 but the manager did check on us & the server was swift! But knowing your menu is absolutely essential. This has been the best food I've tried in Wynwood so far so I can give Dukunoo 4/5!
